Zoom-geiko (Kangeiko) 2021

Chris Brueckner

Good Morning to everyone,

Wow, less than 24 hours ago we were all together on screen and on our decks!  Amazing is it not?  I wanted to be one of the 4 that will be reaching out and say "Thank you!".  Thank you for coming to our new way of giving back a little at a time and bringing all of us together.  I love the computer is used for more than solitaire and can make us have a chance to break away and train.

I have found as we grow we change, we age and our bodies change. This change is what is New and with this change so does our kata and training.  We have to adapt and find what works and ask can I do just a little more and know that our limitations can only make us know more about ourselves.  Exciting to age and get to know ourselves better.  So leaving you with a virtual hug and my gratitude that you train and keep a kindred spirit.  Keep your posture, two handed blocks, eyes to the target, bend those knees, and give back with even a small act of kindness.

I have included a photo shot I captured and hope everyone can get a photo back.  I know that I will be posting them on my website ( yoseikananderson.com) and will add some of your comments to just have a little bit of history.  Please send when you have a chance.  Add names and your location.

Thank you again!  Thank you Renshi Ford for keeping the spirit alive and Sensei Cowherd and Sensei DiGrezio, I raise my teacup to you!  It was fun!

Oh yes, in your Chito-Ryu passport on page 27 is a good spot to mark down your Zoom-geiko (Kangeiko) on 1/30/2021.

Keep training and share this with your students to look forward to another Zoom training!
